Unsubscribes, honoured everywhere

Stay chill. When someone asks to stop hearing from you, the platform makes sure they do. Here's how an unsubscribe works, and how far it reaches.
Every email you send carries a way out. Someone who clicks the link in your email is asked to confirm, then taken off. Someone who uses their mail app's own Unsubscribe button is off at once. And a security scanner that opens every link changes nothing, because it never confirms.
Someone who unsubscribes from your email gets nothing more from that brand, on any list. Your brand's own unsubscribe page takes off an address, or a whole domain. You can take anyone who asks you directly off all your lists. And anyone who reports you as spam is unsubscribed everywhere, and blacklisted.
Someone asks you by phone, or in a reply? Take them off every list here, under Unsubscribes.
Each brand also has its own unsubscribe page, to share with anyone who asks. Its link is on your own domain, and appears once a sending domain is live.
Every one of these is checked before each email goes out, not just when a campaign starts. If a brand's unsubscribes can't be read, its mail waits rather than risk it. And no one is told they're unsubscribed until it's saved.
That's unsubscribes: an easy way out, honoured on every send. Next up: see how four answers shape your whole campaign. Don't freeze up!
