Stay chill. Choose the title and the line people see when your page comes up in a search.

Before anyone visits your website, they read its title and a line about it in their search results. A clear one gets the click.

Open Website from the menu,

and open your website.

Open Pages,

and edit the page.

Press SEO at the top.

This is the page's title, shown in the browser tab and in search results. Beneath it is exactly how it will appear.

The description is the line under the title. One or two sentences on what the page offers, and who it's for.

To keep a page out of search results, a thank-you page say, switch this on.

Press Save. Search engines read it next time they visit.

That's how your pages show in Google. Your pages were written with these already, so change them only when you want to. Next up: write articles that bring in visitors. Don't freeze up!
