Stay chill. Your website can take bookings on its own. Here's how it offers times, and why you're never double-booked.
Your website only offers times you can really take. It starts with your opening hours, or each person's own. It takes out time off, for the business or one person. It takes out other bookings, and any break you set after each. What's left is what customers can pick.
You choose how new bookings are made. Confirmed straight away: the customer is emailed at once. Or a request you approve: their time is held until you reply.
Here's the real thing. In your website's settings, one switch turns bookings on for your website.
Opening hours set when you take bookings, day by day, in your own time zone.
Then your rules: confirmed straight away, or each one approved. The notice you need, how far ahead people can book, and how late they can change or cancel.
Services and team holds what customers can book, in the order your booking page shows them.
And Bookings keeps them all, as a list, or on a calendar of the day or the week.
Every booking is checked again the moment it's made, so two people can't take the same time. Customers are emailed when a booking is confirmed, moved or cancelled. And your rules hold, even when you're not looking.
That's your bookings: only your free times, on your own rules. Next up: see where every enquiry from your website goes. Don't freeze up!
