Stay chill. Here's how to put a sign-up form on your website, so new people can join your list by themselves.
Everyone who signs up has asked to hear from you. They chose to, so your emails are welcome when they arrive.
Each sign-up goes straight onto the list you choose, ready for your next campaign. There's nothing to copy across by hand.
Open Forms from the menu.
Press New signup form.
Give it a name you'll recognise.
Choose Embedded, so it sits in your page like any other block.
Open the list box,
and choose the list new sign-ups join.
Press Create Form.
It's switched on, and taking sign-ups straight away.
It asks for an email address and a first name. You can add more fields here.
Add Last Name, for example.
Press Save design to keep it.
Then open Embed, for the code that puts the form on your website.
Press Copy, and paste it into your website where the form should go.
The code is copied, and ready to paste.
That's your sign-up form ready. Paste it on your site, and every sign-up lands on your list. Next up: handle unsubscribes. Don't freeze up!
