Stay chill. Every list is cleaned before it sends. Here's what cleaning does, and why it matters.
Every email is judged by the mailbox provider that receives it. Sent to a real address, it's delivered, and the sender's record stays clean. Sent to a dead one, it bounces, and the provider remembers.
So before every send, each address is sorted. A real, working address: it sends. A typo, or a closed mailbox: kept out. Unsubscribed, or reported as spam: kept out. A shared inbox like info@: held back, unless you choose to include it.
Here's a real list after cleaning. Green passed, and will be mailed. Red was kept out.
Open the list, and its Clean tab shows how every address was judged.
Only confirmed addresses are mailed: confirmed by their own mail server, or, where it can't say, by a probe. Invalid mailboxes are blacklisted.
Every verdict is counted: what is safe to send, and what was blacklisted.
Addresses still waiting on a probe are counted too, and so are shared inboxes like info@.
Every removal carries its reason. And nothing is deleted: removed addresses stay on the list as a record, kept out of sending.
And the platform keeps watch while it sends. Anyone who reports spam is unsubscribed everywhere. Once a thousand have gone out, three hard bounces in a hundred pause the campaign. And a domain whose mail keeps bouncing has its quotas cut back.
A clean list keeps your record clean, so more mail reaches the inbox. Your campaigns keep running. And each address is checked once, and the answer is kept for every list after.
That's cleaning: your mail goes only to real addresses that haven't asked to stop. Next up: see how the platform checks the addresses no server will vouch for. Don't freeze up!
